Up from today my band Jil­man Zil­man is on CD-release-tour in the South of Ger­many. We will show up in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Din­kels­bühl, Stutt­gart, Moos­burg and Nurem­berg to pre­sent our debut-disc. You can find all dates here.
Espe­cially I would like to announce the offi­cial release show on May 24th at the Kunst­ver­ein Koh­len­hof. Doors open at 8:00 pm.

Thanks to all viti­tors of the very suc­cess­ful tour with Rebecca Trescher’s hoch­ZEIT Null11. We had a won­der­ful arti­cle in the news (Nürn­berg Nach­rich­ten), here you can read it online (in ger­man) and even watch some beau­ti­ful pic­tures of the CD-release-concert in the Jazz­stu­dio in Nuremberg.

And I carry on right away: the second tour with Jonas Herpichböhm’s Ohro­pack alre­ady star­ted with three shows at the begin­ning of April and will be con­ti­nued upco­m­ing Tues­day, April 24th, in Mann­heim, Frei­burg, Erfurt, Ham­burg, Lüne­burg und Olden­burg.
The tour is all about Texas Hold’em Poker and is cal­led “All In Tour 2012″.

Rebecca Tre­scher was busy and has been orga­ni­sing a respec­ta­ble realease-tour for the actual album “SUD”. The fol­lo­wing week we are going to play in Tübin­gen, Stutt­gart, Augs­burg, Din­kels­bühl, Nurem­berg und Strau­bing and in sum­mer will fol­low gigs in Moos­burg, Munich and Kalch­reuth. Aside from this there are some tight impro­ve­ments on my home­page (par­ti­ally still under con­struc­tion). Under discs for example, you can call up my dis­co­gra­phy. There are lis­ted mostly all of my released CDs as a Side­man or Lea­der. Have fun brow­sing it!

After todays hard-earned win­nings of the Bruno-Rother-Competition 2012 in a duo with Johan­nes Lud­wig I’m loo­king for­ward to put the prize money in my band Jil­man Zil­man and to pro­duce a CD as well, wich will be released with Label 11, too. Next week we are going to the stu­dios, you may be exci­ted about that!
At Febru­ary 3rd I will play with Kie­se­wet­ters Gam­ma­rama at the Brecht­fes­ti­val in Augs­burg. Come over!

Like every Year also in 2011 The Flonny 4 are on the road with their christmas-program. It is worth to come by, we have lots of new arran­ge­ments with us! Fur­ther­more Mar­kus Boden­seh will appear on the bass for the first time. All dates you can find here.
This year our CD is still avail­able, for the next win­ter – just in time for our fifth anni­versary – a new record will be produced!

More­over well-timed the Metro­pol­mu­sik Enge­le­Sin­gen will hap­pen the second time (every Sun­day in Advent in the theatre Salz & Pfef­fer, Nurem­berg). We have made a won­der­full album as well, wich will be released on Decem­ber 11th in the Albert-Magnus-Kirche in Nurem­berg with full-instrumentation.

That gol­den autumn-weather is plea­sing to the eye – the musi­cal news are plea­sing to the ear!
After recor­ding our first CD with hoch­ZEIT null11 in Octo­ber and shoo­ting such beau­ti­ful pic­tures like this one, the events are going on with the second fes­ti­val of Metro­pol­mu­sik (7th to 11th of Novem­ber in Kunst­ver­ein Koh­len­hof, Nurem­berg). At the clo­sing con­cert in the Tafel­halle with the one and only Metropol-Orchestra on 12th of Novem­ber I will appear on stage as well.
More­over my Home­boy Jan Kie­se­wet­ter is pri­ced with the Augs­bur­ger Kunst­för­der­preis 2011! Sup­por­ted by Uli Fied­ler, Bernd Huber and my hum­ble self he has rocked the audi­tion! He might be plan­ning a CD and a Tour…we will see.
Maybe we meet in Novem­ber at a Jam­ses­sion in Augs­burg (Hem­pels on 11/6/2011 or Hoff­mann­kel­ler on 11/15/2011) and Nurem­berg (Zwin­ger­bar on 11/14/2011), I will be part of the Opening-Band at those Dates.

Show­time for the fifth sea­son!
The Flonny 4 are invit­ing to a new year full of inte­res­ting jam­ses­si­ons! On the first Sun­day of each month hap­pens the “Jazz-Tatort” in the Hem­pels (cel­lar of the Anna­pam, Bäcker­gasse, Augs­burg). After an opening-set with a super-special-wunderbar-guest and a main theme the stage is open for play­ers! Come over!!!

August 2011 is all about Metropol-Musik . While others go on holi­day, we are recor­ding the CD for Enge­le­Sin­gen in Decem­ber.
After this the Zika­den in Kunst­ver­ein Koh­len­hof are ready to begin: two bands per week are play­ing a double-concert every night, the com­plete event lasts for three weeks. In this con­text I will be per­for­ming with Rebecca Tre­scher and hoch­ZEIT 011 from August 22nd til 28th toge­ther with Joa­chim Lenhardt’s Band.
Above all I’m really loo­king fore­ward to appear the first time on the Augs­bur­ger Jazz Som­mer . I will per­form in the Striese on August 5th with my Munich com­ra­des of Dig­gin Sphere.

Ricardo Nar­váez’ CD, that we recor­ded in April 2011, is alre­ady finis­hed and will be released upco­m­ing Mon­day (06/27/2011) in Katha­ri­nen Ruine in Nurem­berg.
